 On Sunday, February 19 at 1:00pm, the Old Pine Conservancy will host “The Underground Railroad in Pennsylvania” In his presentation, Mr. Kevin Williams, secondary school teacher, researcher, and trustee of the Old Pine Conservancy, describes the circumstances that led to the development of Underground Railroad. He shares the significance of Pennsylvania, in particular Philadelphia, in this labyrinth of stops and how “conductors” aided those seeking their freedom from enslavement. Admission is free.
